…I really don’t think they would look good with my e-ring.
The bands are made by a seller on Etsy (gotta love Etsy!!!) and can be found here:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/50597827/custom-fingerprint-wedding-bands-in
They take your finger print and put it on the inside of your FH’s ring and vice versa. I think it’s adorable and so romantic. Here’s a pic:

But I’m really afraid it would look SUPER weird sitting next to my e-ring (though I would get it made in the same metal as my e-ring so the color difference you can see in the pictures is irrelevant, I’m just afraid it’s too simple). Here’s the manufacturer’s picture (it’s a tacori):

And here’s a picture of it on my finger:

I don’t think it would be as special if only FH got one and then I got a different one that matched my e-ring better.
I’m at a loss…I never thought I would see a wedding band and think “I need to have that” and it sucks that I did and I feel like it will look lame next to my e-ring…
What do you think Bees?

I really don’t think that the e-ring and the wedding band must match…. i think that as long as you love them both, you’ll be fine :)!!!!!!!

Well you can buy it and could start wearing your e-ring on your right hand if you don’t like the way they look together or you can get a second band that matched your e-ring, so when you want to wear the e-ring you can wear that set, and if you want to wear the fingerprint ring by itself you can. I don’t know, I would just go for the purchase since you obviously love it, and figure out a solution afterwards if it bothers you.

If you can get one in the same metal as your e-ring you should totally do it!

There are actually other posts on Weddingbee about this same issue (though a little less specific, just talking about fancy e-ring bands with plain wedding bands) and there were some pictures and they actually look fine. But now FH is “weirded out” by purchasing something so important from a random person over the internet…he’s afraid we’ll get ripped off. So if anyone has used the seller Fabuluster on Etsy, please let me know about your experience!

Miss Cardigan got these wedding bands. I’m not sure she used the same seller but go check through her posts to see her experience with them.

I don’t think the simple band/fancy e-ring is a problem, but I have a hard time imagining the brushed metal next to the smooth. If you can get the wedding band in a polished metal so it looks more similar to the metal on your e-ring, I think they go beautifully!

@BunnyBrideToBe: They can be done in high shine or brushed (obviously I would do the high shine). And I want to get it close to the width of my e-ring.

I agree that it wouldn’t match your ering (gorgeous btw) but it would add some character if it didn’t. I actually like the mismatched style. As long as it’s the same metal I think it’ll look very pretty!

Honestly, I don’t really get the blingy wedding ring thing. I am all about plain wedding bands so I think it is fine.
