I’m really happy with my moissanite ring, plus I love having a house with a yard πŸ˜‰

I won’t participate in the diamonds either. I’d rather have a house.

Lab grown everything is much more affordable, a few hundred vs. thousands. I found a lab grown white sapphire ring for like $300 total, while the natural white sapphire verison was well over $1,300.

Moissanite – cheaper than diamonds, but more than I want to spend

Cubic Zerconia

Wood – seen these for around $80

Sterling Silver with designs – under $100

Tattoo!

Opal

Pearl

You can put pretty much anything into a ring…

It’s not so much that I don’t like diamonds but I’ve always wanted a sapphire engagement ring. There are so many options with engagement rings and you can do whatever you want! You don’t even have to have an engagement ring if you don’t want.

And beacause I love to show off my ring:

Don’t like diamonds either! I just can’t jusify the cost. I want a BIG rock. 3 ct. If I got a diamond it would be over $15K! That’s just noooo. Lol. I’m getting a morganite, and it will be under $2k. And it has sentimental value, because my name is Beryl and a morganite is a pink beryl..and pink is my favorite color!! I am very excited to get it πŸ˜€

Me, me, me! I told my boyfriend the biggest thing was I didn’t want a diamond. He has my ring already, and I want it to be a surprise so I don’t know for sure what gem it is. But I sent him mainly blue sapphires, aquamarines and morganite to choose from. I’m super picky and super cheap so I was trying to give him a lot of options (both aesthetically and financially) to choose from. It’s nice to hear some other ladies aren’t partial to diamond πŸ™‚

k8goeslz:  This ring reminds me of Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. I’m in the US but I love following royalty. I think her ring is diamond and yellow diamond but it is very classy like hers πŸ™‚

I have a diamond that I love but if I went for something else I think I’d go for an emerald stone.  They are so gorgeous!!  Especially lusting after this little gem.

I also am not a diamond girl! My preferred center stone is morganite! This is set my fiancé and I went with πŸ™‚

i have a diamond as it was an heirloom diamond, i do love my ring and the meaning behind it and all plus, in general i love allll sparkly things. but if an heirloom wasn’t our situation…i would have done my very, very best to talk Fiance into a sapphire or mossanite. i loveee morganite too, but i have seen how dirty they get and that would drive me insane. i honestly believe that in a few more years, gemstones and diamond alternatives will make up a really significant percentage of engagement rings. and i kind of love that!

I also have never cared for diamonds, everyone I know has a diamond and I think there’re colorless and boring not to mention price and how they’re mined.I wanted something with color and meaning to me my ring is a London blue topaz  which is my husband’s favorite color also I love the deep blue color. My ring cost less than 300.
