and I’m so anxious I’m about to explode. However I’ve just managed to take a 2 hour nap so thank god for that.
My to-do list has suddenly gone down to just 4 things:
- write out card for Fiance.
- attend ceremony rehearsal tonight
- get married tomorrow after a day of getting dolled up
And I’m STILL super stressed out. Everything’s gone exactly as planned so far, but i’m worried it’s going to rain tomorrow. I’m worried something will go wrong while they’re setting up the venue and I won’t be around to fix it (I know, stupid). What if I’ve gained weight in the past week and the dress doesn’t fit? what if if the guests don’t have a good time? omg.
I’ve been getting random crying spells for the past two weeks, where I just break down and sob. It’s beyond awkward. Fiance and I have been so bipolar it’s ridiculous, we’re constantly shifting from “can’t get our hands off each other” to “ffs I’m marrying an idiot”.
I really hope I can enjoy tomorrow. I am marrying an AMAZING man and I just want it to be the best day of our lives.
*breathes into paper bag*
Anyway, I just want to say a big THANK YOU to each and every bee who’s on here. We’ve shared many a vent, rant, laugh, panic attack and argument. 🙂 You girls have made me smile, and you’ve helped me get over myself when I get too stressed out over the little stuff. You’ve supported me and given me your honest opinions, and weddingbee has made this a lovely experience. I’ve never met you, but I talk about you often! I wish you all the best of luck with your wedding, I’ll be back soon with a recap!
aaand of course, here’s a pic. the dresses all ready and laid out for the big moment.

@Adams_bee: You’re going to do great! My wedding was 2 weeks ago (ahhh!) and the best advice I can give you is to just let the little things go! If something isn’t just perfect, you are the ONLY one who is going to notice! All of those details that you’ve worked to hard to pay attention to, you will not even notice them tomorrow…trust me! I worked so hard on our gift table and sign in table and centerpieces and I honestly don’t think I looked at them hardly at all! The more you stress, the harder tomorrow is going to be, so have a glass of wine tonight, giggle with your girlfriends and just ENJOY tomorrow 🙂 Everyone says that it flies by and I am here to tell you…IT FLIES BY!! I don’t remember half of it, but I know it was perfect – even if it all wasn’t “perfect” Congratulations beauty! It will be wonderful no matter what 😉

How exciting! You are going to make a stunning bride.
Just remember, worry about the things you can control, and don’t worry about the things you can’t. I put a request in with mother nature for sunshine tomorrow, though, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!
I second @Sapphire-Dreamer‘s suggestion of a mani/pedi or other treatment to help you relax. Or, curl up with your favorite book, movie, or TV series, and enjoy the fact that all you have to do is be a gorgeous bride!

I’m so excited for you! Tomorrow is going to be great! as I read your post, I kept thinking how much I could relate to it even though my wedding is still 13mo away!
Try to keep calm and try to remember what relaxes you and do it! Take another nap, take a long bath, visualize you and FH on a beach somewhere (and sometimes you can visualize yourself with out him, lol).
everything is going to be okay!

@Adams_bee: Congrats!!! I just got married last Saturday and it went by so fast! It rained the entire day of my wedding but my thinking was that it happens. I was not going to let clouds and rain ruin my day. It did ruin my shoes because we had an outdoor tented reception but oh well. I was really relaxed on my day due to great planning and execution. Just remember that the most important thing is that you’re marrying the person you love.

thank you everyone. you’re all so kind 🙂 reading your posts made me smile amidst all this craziness. lol. My mum’s obsessed that everyone’s going to outshine her at the wedding. She’s been at this for a year now, and she mentioned it again just now. I finally snapped and said “mum, stop it. enough. Now at this point you have to decide: are you going to a fashion show tomorrow, or to celebrate your daughter’s wedding?”
*sigh* I’ll keep reading your posts, and I’ll try to shut everything else out until tomorrow. lol.
