I’ve heard David Klass is a one man operation. I’m sure that gets stressful for him at times and he’s probably just busy working on you ring and the others he’s responsible for making. I think I remember seeing a couple of posts about DK potentially being slow to respond to his emails. I’m sure that happens from time to time and is nothing to worry about.

However, in your particular situation, I would say to call him if you can, because you don’t want your ring to get shipped to the wrong address. Even with mail forwarding, I think that would be really bad.

I totally understand how you feel. I think that the damand and the fact that he works alone is catching up to him. I think he has more volume than he can handle right now.

I really really hope you will hear something soon. I want to see that ring!

TrueLove407:  yes this happened to me!! After I decided exactly what I wanted he said he would have it done within a week since two months had already passed. I didn’t receive the approval pics to pay him until 2 weeks later after I sent him a few emails. I think he was so busy that maybe he had forgotten. I’d give him until Tuesday morning and if you havnt heard from him then I’d send another email. Did you ask if all was ok with your ruby since he said he’s having trouble setting it?

I believe david has a few assistants working with him and I know he can get over 100 emails a day so I imagine some slip through the cracks. I’m sure people that are inquiring having a piece made get top priority in email responses. I know how crazy it can make you waiting for your ring to be finished. If he doesnt answer you by Tuesday then I’d call him! Don’t worry though, he’s amazing and we’ll worth the wait ๐Ÿ™‚

I know how you feel!!! I’m waiting on my custom engagement ring and they seem to be taking forever! We asked them when it should be finished (since they made it seem like it shouldn’t take too long after we said yes to the CADs) and since my SO and I are going on vacation next week. They said by the end of the month….. To make me even more bummed is my boyfriend told me he wanted to purpose before our trip!
