I would do July…sounds cute. Also, I’ve never noticed December being an off-seasons for weddings.

As far as your Fiance goes, the only way you can get him to believe that…is let him help. Give him some jobs that are totally his.

Have fun!

You could be charged more in December considering it’s a busy holiday season. Your July plan rocks- it’s seems like it would be a lot of fun!

July sounds like fun, but can you stand the heat in your wedding dress & tuxes?

July!!  Its closer and I think a year is the right amount of time to spend planning – not rushed, but the wedding doesn’t feel SO far away!! and you don’t have to worry as much about guests getting stuck in a blizzard….

july. michigan is quite lovely in the summer and knowing how crazy the weather can be there, it’d suck if you got stuck in a snowstorm before a winter wedding =P.

If you’re in Michigan, I am 100% on the July side. We were up there in late June and it was great, except the two days it was 55*. Buuuurrrrrr!!!!

I also vote for summer….less chance of weather impacting flights, and hopefully your guests can save some $ not flying near Christmas?

I’m totally down for the summer dresses, linen suits, casual bbq reception…and the paddle boats!

Althougth a hot chocolate/coffee bar sounds yummy!

I vote for July –I only had 9 months to plan my wedding, so in my book you’re ahead of the game!

I’m doing July 2009.  The weather should be rock solid, and with summer vacation everyone is likely to be there.

I can’t wait!  Good luck with whichever you choose 🙂
