- Wedding: December 2009
I have been going round and round with FH about when, where, and how to get married, I’ve settled on 2 "ideas":
1. December 2009
-gives us time to save money
– awesome deals from my photographer and dj for being in the "off-season"
-hello, gourmet coffee/hot chocolate bar!
-peacock feathers in tall glasses vases of turqouise, royal blue, and chartreuse glass christmas bulbs for centerpieces
2. July 2009 (he doesn’t want to wait until December)
-outdoor lake-front bbq/4th of july party/reception (tent, too!)
-there is paddle boating (how cute would those pictures be?!)
-i’m envisioning sparklers, swimming, volleyball
-semi-formal ceremony (linen suits, simple dresses) followed by lunch and lots of fun and games
-definitely the cheaper route to go as far as catering and venue
Decisions, decisions. I can think of GREAT things about each, and not-so-great things.
How do I decide? And how do I convince a reluctant groom-to-be that even though, yes, I came up with the ideas, we can still incorporate HIS ideas, too?
