love. It is the dark wood chivari chair!!!!!!!!! I will leave them uncovered, which will provide a clean look I loved in the beginning. Kind of excited. If you remember, the florist who I met with first threw a tantrum when I said I want to see the chair uncovered … but I know he is the best for flowers and will give us exactly what we want. So he is now understanding of my chair situation.
I mean, wth, there are not other options besides chivari … if you want a nice looking, uncovered chair for your ballroom setting. I really really have decided that I don’t like the look of a chair all covered in linen.

We’re having dark wood chivaris at our wedding as well. Is it wrong that a reason I booked my venue was because they offered chivaris at a low rate? Because if it’s wrong, I don’t want to be right!

I love the look of dark wood, uncovered chairs. We got married in a historic gentleman’s club and used their original, dark wood, scroll-back chairs. I was obsessed with them!

I love those dark chiavari chairs. They don’t need any ornamentation and they look clean, classic and modern all at the same time.
Believe it or not, but I am getting married in a place where chiavari chairs are NOT an option! My mum called everyone, begged, borrowed, threatened and nada. No nice chairs. The only possibility would have been to have them shipped in from Seattle for a mere $6000. Ummmmm, no.
