@BEE485: I was confused! I’m still a little confused on why you ask for opinions then start name calling when you don’t get the answers you want after YELLING at us to respond. I don’t have the energy to be catty. But I see you ended up answering my question anyway by your follow up response on how wonderful he is and how we “don’t know your life”. I hope you find what you are looking for…

If I had a nickel for everytime I’ve seen this on the internet:
1. Someone asks for advice
2. Advice is given
3. OP doesn’t like the advice given and turns nasty
4. OP either a) flounces off after insulting people who were arsed to actually reply
b) has done the thing that should have been done first and talked to
OH and now there is suddenly no problem
I’d have at least $2000
And btw, it’s spelt ‘catiness’

I hope this proposal comes through OP. Do remember that we only respond based on the information you give us. Your first post has a very different tone than the others.

@Baal: Not trying to be annoying but it’s actually spelled cattiness. But I figure you probably just made a typo.

I don’t recall seeing where folks said dump him. My advice would have been to totally stop TTC and keep your walk date private (and start saving your money aside to move just in case). Have one more convo with him, letting him know that its important to you that you are both on the same page officially. Then then drop it. If he doesn’t propose by the end of year, you have your answer.
@Baal: ITA! I never understand this. He’s so great, but I’m going to ask strangers for their take on it, based on the few details that the OP gives. Of course it makes total sense to now get mad because the same strangers can never know the depth of your relationship. GTHOH and cry me a river. SMDH
