As I bride to be that is fast approaching my wedding date I have a million final decisions that I have to make, and I often find myself wondering if I am making the “correct” choices.
For instance two weekends ago I had my trial hair appointment. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, and when I was first finished I loved my hair. As the day went on I really started to question if my hair was what I wanted. Everyone kept telling me it is so elegant and beautiful, but I am still questioning if I made the right decision.
Same with my make-up. I had a trial run. I loved the makeup initially, except the eyes. I don’t normally wear a ton of makeup and they went way too dark on my eyes. Again as the day went on I was uncertain if I still liked the way I looked. I know that you are supposed to feel so beautiful on your wedding day, but I am so nervous that I am going to make the wrong decisions that I am worry day in and out.
I am also trying to keep my cool about all the little things and really enjoy the process, but as time gets closer I find that I am constantly double checking things. I am so fearful that I am going to forget something.
So as a bride who in her own career is always telling other to stay calm, enjoy the moment and take it all in, I myself am starting to unravel.

your hair is beautiful. But if you’re really doubting it, why not ask if you can have another trial with a different style? makeup – lighten the eyes if you feel awkward. (Also, um, lighten that lip liner?) You should feel natural and like “yourself” on your wedding day, not constantly worrying about how your eye makeup looks.
As for the unravelling, I think it’s fairly normal the closer you get. Have you taken a break lately? Like, just a day to do whatever you want, and not think or work on the wedding at all? Perhaps that would help.

I love the hair, so long and beautiful. Did you get to try it on with your dress? I think the makeup would be an easy fix. I think your stylist did a great job on your hair.

I know it’s hard now, but on your wedding day this stuff just won’t matter as much to you. You’ll be so focused on actually getting married that if you have a hair out of place, well, oh well. I would just stick to your gut and go with your first decision. You can always keep looking and finding other things, but that will just drive you crazy.
And if you forget something, the wedding will still go on. As long as you have your fi and officiant, you’re good to go! What helped me keep everything together was keeping it all in one room (we have a guest room) all in one place in boxes, so we just had to make sure the room was all cleared out.

First of all, your hair? Friggin gorgeous!!!!
The make-up, beautiful (though I agree with you about the eyes). Why dont you do he make-up trial again that way you can see what the eyes will look like without all that dark makeup.
What you’re doing is being a bride hun. We all do it, did it, or are in the process of trying to figure it all out. Its nervous for us … not to be married, but to throw this huge party that is going to be the “most special day of our lives”. Because of that, everything needs to be perfect.
But, I agree with @artbee …. on the day of, I don’t those things are going to matter. The emotion and experience will hold precedence. That being said, trust your gut!!!! There is a reason why you chose those things the begin with; trust yourself when you made the decision (bc I’m sure you weren’t flipping a bit like you are now since its so close). Good luck!
