I added quite a few details only after I started reading the wedding blogs.  I didn’t even think about wedding reception timelines until I saw them on the web, and after attending a few weddings that were very confusing I am sold on them.

There are some great books out there that will ensure you won’t forget a thing. The BIG book of weddings by Mindy Weiss is one of them. Also, if you go to even one consultation with a wedding coordinator; ask them to make you a “master list” of things to do and have a day of wedding planner to sew up any fogotten loose ends. That way you can enjoy that day with your friends and family without having vendors chase you down if something goes wrong.

I’ve got lists of all kinds of things, I add a few to my list at a time and knock them out one by one.  It is a lot, but doing it step by step is making it really easy for me.
