I have a wedding notebook….basically a large journal.  Inside are pictures cut out…different websites that I liked….instructions on DIY ideas….

I write things down…do some research (costs of things depending on which website I order it from).  That way its out of my head and on some paper.  I go back to the notebook 1xweek and think about different projects that I know I can do on my own w/o being overwhelmed.  I cross things out that I know I won’t be able to do.

I also give myself little timelines of when things have to be done….like in March I will order the cupcake boxes and decide on a sticker design for them and the color/type of ribbons I will use.   I will also have a rough draft of the guest list done by the end of March as well.  If I accomplish more – great!!   But I try not to overwhelm myself w/ details.

Haha my family makes fun of me cause I leave it in my car or I carry it to work/mall trips w/ me.  I want to make sure I can write down things at any time and I like to be prepared!!!  They are always like…”Oh god, she’s got a picture for that” or “Wait til she takes out her massive book”

check out the reminder list on http://www.theknot.com  You can go by their checklist or add things and make it your own…just to give you some ideas.  Some other people use the one from Real Simple or check out Martha Stewarts.
