So… The holiday season has come and gone (Thank God!) and needless to say a lot has changed.
- Our Location: We origanally planned on getting married in NYC, now it looks like we will be doing the whole thing in Atlanta. I love the ATL and I’m sure that it will still be a fab, I just feel like I wasted a bunch of time planning for NYC only to have EVERYONE trun on me in the end.
- Relocating: I’m going to SC in Feb. then moving out there in June. Now I was supposed to move in Feb. but like all things I get excited about it changed on me. My mother is having a hard time letting me ang threw a major fit so to ease her mind I pushed my move date back.
- Budget: This mess keeps changing. First it was $25,000 and then it was $15,000 now it’s “We’ll see…” I don’t know what to do at this point. How can you expect me to plan with no budget?
- Conflict: Drama over some shoes. I got my weddings shoes about a month ago and my mom loved them. Well for Christmas Mr. got me these beautiful heels. I just love them and the fit our wedding colors perfectly. Mr. asked me if I wouldn’t mind wearing them as my wedding shoe and of course I said YES! My mom on the other hand does not approve. She made it very clear that she didn’t like the idea of wearing these shoes and ahe has also made it a point to be difficult about everything else now too.
These are just a few of the things that have been making my wedding planning experence very unenjoyable.
