So my wedding is Saturday, only 2 days away and I’m so nervous!! I have no idea why, like I’m shaky! I don’t have any doubt, I’m not really stressed about anything “going wrong”. As long as I get to marry my best friend I don’t care much about the details. So why am I so nervous? It just hit me today. Is anyone else really nervous?

Congrats on your upcoming wedding!!
I think everyone gets nervous. And just because you are nervous doesn’t necessarily mean they are bad or unsure nerves. They could just be happy and anxious for the day to come nerves. Those were the kind of nerves I had once I stepped into my dress. I was like “holy crap it is actually happening!” Just enjoy your next 2 days because it will all go by so fast.

I’m right there with you…not nervous about much going wrong, but just about such a big day in general. I’d call it: happy nervous anticipation.
I mean, it’s always a thing when you are putting yourself on display, never mind your feelings and emotions. But unlike a solo recital or speech….you’re doing it together. For the rest of your lives! BIG PLUS.
I’m up next weekend.
I wish you a WONDERFUL WEDDING (it will be) and much relaxation after!!

I know the feeling you mean. I took my wedding band in to get sized and my engagement ring re-dipped and my hands were shaking so bad when I was handing the rings to him!
It was a ‘oh my lanta this is real. its really happening. omgomgomg. We’re getting married’ moment.
Its not a bad feeling, but it is definitely a weird and surreal one.
