I agree with the other bees who have said that, with your amazing figure, you could wear any gown and that this gown looks incredible on you! It’s gorgeous, very different from what most people have seen or worn themselves, and it is whimsical, romantic, sophisticated, stylish, and modern all at the same time!

As for your originally having envisioned yourself in something more form-fitting, I understand that desire given your fabulous figure. However, not just anyone can rock this gown, and you can! Plus, you’re only likely to have a big wedding once in your life, and when ELSE could you ever wear something like this? You have a whole lifetime ahead of you to wear more form-fitting gowns to all kinds of special events. You look absolutely stunning in the gown that you chose!!

@ejacques18:  You have nothing to worry about!  The dress actually doesn’t look too “princessy” to me.  The floral detail and flowy skirt makes it very feminine, but it’s not overwhelming.  To me, a traditional poufy ballgown is much more “princess.”  This dress also really looks good on your body type.  I think only a very tall, thin girl could pull something like that off.  Great choice!  Smile

I think the dress you chose is a good choice as well. I’m also 6’2″ and athletic. I tried on some dresses a while back and I felt like I looked like a dude in a dress. I was amazed at the fact that you found not one but at least two dresses that you tried on and fit you… all the dresses I tried were too short or the waist didnt hit my in the right place. I was also looking for a fitted dress but my FH thinks that an A-line/ball dress would be better for my body type and you seem to be proving him right. Thanks for posting! Btw where did you get your dress?

I LOVE the first dress on you. The 2nd dress I’ve seen on SO many other brides, it’s not as unique as yours. I’ve never seen your dress before, I LOVE it. Your style is whimsical. Your dress is very feminine but that’s a good thing. I LOVE it!!!!!!
