Dh’s bday is tomorrow. Then we are starting our furbaby in training classes. Then it’s cleaning and organizing the apartment, completing our registry, fixing up the cars, saving for a house, and taking all the trips we had to put off because of wedding stuff!

I have been going crazy with decorating our place and planting things outside. I also got back into my recreational reading!

@tranquility: Lol, but I am wondering if the and are working on paying off our credit cards might inhibit that!

I’m planning on spending the rest of the summer putting together our photo album, and two for our parents. Like not just put the picture in the plastic sheet thing, but desiging the whole book. I expect it to keep me busy for a bit. But that’s if your of the desiging/editing bent

Any hobbies you put off learning/continuing to enjoy for wedding planning? New Orleans sounds like a pretty fun place to explore – try new restaurants, go new places, take short weekend trips to closeby places.

Enjoy being married!

I adored wedding planning, but surprised myself after the honeymoon by being totally over all things wedding related (I still can’t watch any wedding tv shows…and we’ve been married for 7 months). It was just so refreshing to get back to “normal” life.

Some things I’ve been focusing on:

-vacation planning (road trip to New England this summer; Europe next summer)

-decorating/furnishing our house (we’d been in our house for more than two years when we got married, but we were able to use our wedding gifts to buy a lot of new furniture/decor items)

-focusing on enjoying married life pre-kids

-learning about conceiving/pregnancy and planning TTC in about a year

-reading more
