Yep! She still had not booked the caterer, baker, or florist!! I was the one making all the decisions and telling her what to do, instead of me giving her some general ideas and her responding with examples of what she thinks would work well.
Anyway, it looks like this is going to be the best decision because I now have a wonderful coordinator who has stepped up to the plate and is going an amazing job putting together everything I wanted, and we have a great caterer who is going to cook some amazing food.
I am more relaxed now than I have been. Now I just get to enjoy the next 4 weeks getting excited about marrying my soulmate!
Anyone else having drama this close to the wedding?

Wow… your wedding is really soon and she hadn’t booked any of the major vendors? Phew, I would fire her too! Glad you got everything together 🙂

Good for you! It sounds like you made the right decision! We had a little drama close to the wedding in terms of RSVPs and random people asking for invites, but nothing that big. Sounds like you handled things perfectly. Good luck with the next month! April weddings are my favorite!

Wow! I can’t believe that, crazy! You didn’t notice that you didn’t have contracts signed for the florist, baker, or caterer?
Soounds like you made the right choice!

Thanks, ladies, for letting me vent. Yes, I feel that I made the right decision. Yes, it will cost me more in the end, but can you really put a price on peace of mind the day of the wedding??
Ahhhh time to relax and enjoy!

You should definitely review them on here. Good thing you fired her before it was REALLY too late. I’m glad you found someone who’s making things happen!
