I just had to share something with everyone because I’m so happy!
I put on weight over finals last summer, when I was finishing my undergraduate degree. I’ve been feeling quite crappy about my figure for some time (I’m the pear-shaped girl who’s very heavy legged with tiny tiny boobs!) but recently people have been complementing me on how slim I look. This included FI’s grandad who told me off for ‘looking too skinny’ (this isn’t the case – I’m by no means a size 0!) and a friend of mine who said my arms were looking really muscly. I’m hoping she meant toned!
Basically, I haven’t really changed my diet at all, but re-started karate after several years in January and it would appear that it’s been helping me to shed the flab. I don’t own a set of scales, so no idea how much I weigh, but today I am wearing a dress which wouldn’t go on at all last time I tried. Now it’s not even tight! And it’s a size small!
Just had to share that with everyone, and encourage people to rediscover their favourite sport (or try a new one) rather than obsessing over what you’re eating! What other tips do people have?
