@SeaBabe:  It is possible to get PG (if you ovulated a couple days late, you most certainly could have been fertile when he was home) and you’re late enough that a test should be accurate.  Best of luck to you, either way.

@SeaBabe:  It’s definitely possible. I’d get a test and check. By 9 days after your period the result should be pretty accurate. Good luck either way…

I would get a test now!  You are past your missed period so it will be effective.

Sounds like it could be possible! Good luck with whatever result you get!

You never know, ovulation is tricky and if you ovulated late you could definitely be pregnant! If your period is late you can go ahead and test and it should be accurate. Go Pee!

@SeaBabe:  The First Response Early Result is reliable and easy to read, but a digital would work too.  I’d wait till the morning, just to be safe.

If you are 9 days late, you can test right now with a digital. No need to wait till morning.

@SeaBabe:  if your period is this late, any pregnancy test should pick it up. I would say just buy a few dollar store tests. Not because you need more than one … a positive is a positive… but maybe more than 1 (especially if they are cheap and it’s not too big a deal to get more than 1) would be more convincing? The expensive ones are for women who want to test super early when the hormone concentration is still really low and only hypersensitive, pricier tests will pick it up as a positive.

I second dollar store tests if you don’t want to spend tons of money. They work. Digital is always easiest to read but they can be pricey. You should get a positive being this late without first morning urine but they say that is when its strongest and most reliable but I got my BFP in the evening 1 day after my missed period with a dollar store test. Good luck! keep us posted.

Yes, like PP’s said, you should receive an accurate test.  My sister was only 2 days late when she received her positive.  Good luck with your results!  Keep us posted!

I used a dollar store test first thing in the morning (we’re talking like 5 am) the day after my period was due and I got a faint positive. After going back to sleep for a few hours (not sure how I even managed that!), I tested again with a FRER and got a very obvious positive.

I recommend the FRER if you can afford it, but dollar store tests should also do the trick!
