In another thread a bee mentioned the pollution and global impact (great point) of the metal mining but I know moissyco/ashadiamonds only uses recycled metals. So I wanted to know for the bees that chose a gem besides diamonds for ethical reasons (unless you have a Canadian Diamond) did you make sure to use a recycled metal, either gold, platinum, or pallidum?

@NovaRising: I had a wedding ring made of recycled gold in my first marriage. This time around, I didn’t have a chance look at that option again for my engagement ring because Darling Husband surprised me with a ring. Luckily he already knew about conflict-free diamonds, but honestly I wish I had a chance to look at alternatives. Our wedding rings are tungsten and not recycled.
