I’ve never had a problem with silver not lasting?

Stupid compter though…..

Anyway, Congrats sweetie!

Generally it seems like e-rings are usually made of platinum or gold, rather than silver.  Good luck in your search!  I recommend trying on rings in person to see what you like on your hand πŸ™‚  So exciting!!

Congrats!  Gold might be better anyway.  Fiance bought me jewelry from Kay a few years ago and a sales associate said silver and diamonds may not be a good idea since silver is softer it will make losing stones more likely.  I’d be afraid of tarnish with silver as well.

Yay! I’d go with gold, as I’ve also heard silver is prone to stones falling out as well. (silver was my first choice when I was looking for something cost effective to begin with) I ended up selecting white gold to be safe.  Happy shopping! πŸ™‚

@Scottish_lassie:  WOOO !

try palladium- its  very similar to platinum but way less expensive, and you wont need to get it re-dipped, white gold you may to keep the shine up, (which is fine but you just need to be aware it needs some upkeep) πŸ˜‰ and silver is def too soft for a forever ring.

try some on for sure-  but if you are not set on diamond check out moissaniteco.com. I am a moissanite convert after reading seeing some of the bees rings on here! I have a necklace from them too, but in general the ring boards here or the gallery are great for inspiration

That’s very exciting!

Did you ever get your braces? I remember you posting a while ago about some frustrations with your SO and that you were going to do some things to invest in yourself. Just curious as to what  you’ve decided to do πŸ™‚

FWIW, I really like the emerald cut!

@Scottish_lassie:  Yep dental work is certainly expensive. I had about $10,000 worth of dental work when I was in junior high and high school and my parents still ended up paying the amount above out of pocket even after our insurance. I take ridiculously good care of my teeth now though hahaha! It’s pricey, but worth it. Adults with braces are becoming more and more common as well, so I think you should spring for it if you can manage it πŸ™‚
