oh hun, i’m so sorry. That’s seriously frustrating. I’m sure it’s ok. They’re probably just badly organised. If they were going to do one with your money, they wouldn’t have bothered with the engagement shoot.

I’d put a very careful e mail together and send it to everyone at this company. Make it clear that you understand how busy they are but, you’ve signed a contract and have a legitimate expectation that you’d receive these photos in the time specified by them. Be fair, but firm. Exlpain that, whilst they assure you that the pics are in the post, they have nonetheless not arrived and you would like to see proof of postage.

Keep us updated x

Contact a lawyer and the Better Business Bureau… and maybe write a review on weddingwire or yelp so this won’t happen to other people.

Oh- and put your left hand on your right shoulder.  Now put your right hand on your left shoulder.  SQUEEZE… that is me hugging you- sorry you have to go through this πŸ™

@pandaboo:  That may be your only option unless you want to be out $2K.  Sorry you’re going through this.  I hope it’s figured out soon.

@pandaboo:  you can try to find their “updated mailing address” via looking up business license info on your state’s “secretary of state” website. I’d say it’s fair game to continue to call the guy’s personal cell phone. We had problems getting our wedding photos back on the dvd (with all the copyrights) because our photographer got a new admin in the process, and somehow she had inputted our address wrong so all of our DVDs were being shipped out to some random address in LA. The photographer was really cool and just mailed out another copy and to be on the safe side, he had his assistant hand deliver one to our house. In the end, the second one in the mail arrived 2 days after his assistant dropped one set off.

@pandaboo:  just try and not let it bother you(easier said than done… i know). as PP said please please make sure you retain all email communication. and maybe stop calling and GO up there. i know they have moved locations but go to where you think they are.

i really hope things workout. also…maybe send the invites out without the epics. we are using our e pics for the programs and puting them out at the reception.

The wedding is in less than 7 weeks so you gotta start making choices.

I’m so glad you received your pictures & they turned out beautiful. I’d take it as a lesson to never ever pay in full for a service you haven’t received. Live & learn. : )
