I know…all these details that you did not even consider prior to planning your wedding just add and add and add to the total cost!  It is ridiculous!  I just tell myself that I don’t need to go overboard on anything, but at the same time, I only plan on doing this once and want it to be special!  I know no matter what happens it will be wonderful getting married to my best friend, but I still have ideas and thoughts about what I want the day to be like, and although it is expensive, some things are just too important to be overlooked.  My wedding is one of these things!

Good luck to us all in hoping to keep the cost craziness at a minimum – we are going to need it!

Just wait until you order invitations.  You wouldn’t believe how expensive paper can be!

@moose, I KNOW!!! I ended up getting mine from Walmart and I’m just “tweaking” them. The original invites I wanted were over $1200.00!!! I thought the lady was kidding!!! NOPE!

@dance: I tell myself the same thing!  I’m constantly thinking, am I really going to spend this much… “this is only for ONE day” and then coming back with “only the most important day so far in my life”!  Constant battle. 😉

I’m preparing myself for our $5000+ lighting quote for our tent. What the heck am I supposed to do with that?! Seriously, I just want to hand everyone a flashlight from the dollar store!!!

WOW, I had no idea that dance floors cost so much! Fortunately for me, the dance floor came with the reception venue. Then again….the reception venue has one heck of a price tag as well.

It is truly amazing how much “little” things can cost when it comes to the wedding!
