Are you planning on passing it someday? If you don’t need the money from the sell why don’t keep it at least till you’re sure you want to sell it?

It’s a beautiful dress, maybe someday a daughter or aniece could wear it.

I would bet that 99% of wedding dresses are not worn again by daughters, nieces etc. One day you will find yourself giving it away because no one wants to buy it, or letting your daughters use it for dress up.

I say sell it quick while it is still in style. Most young couples can use the money.

If you aren’t sure about selling it, I wouldn’t sell it. Maybe you can give yourself a bit more time to make a decision either way.

I personally would not have worn my mother’s wedding dress. She actually borrowed one, so it wasn’t even an option, but she did keep her veil. I will be using the lace from her veil and the lace from FI’s mother’s dress in my bouquet.

And just for reference, I plan on selling my dress, but keeping my veil.
