I am updating his wardrobe. He hates to shop and would wear the same clothes until they are literally falling apart before he thought to replace anything. I would prefer he not look like a bum so every couple of years I update almost everything and then supliment with a few items here and there between total overhauls.
Luckily he’s pretty basic so its not as expensive as it sounds. Probably 3 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of slacks, then a mixed dozen or so of t-shirts, polos, and henley style shirts. Through in a couple button downs and a sweatshirt or 2 and he’s got all the clothes he needs.

I’m always forced to a budget as if I’m not I go a bit..wild with my credit card (bought him a brand new 12 string guitar last year) so I’m getting him a personalised Apple Watch strap since he’s getting one soon. And some Pusheen stuff as he loves Pusheen.

Getting him a super nice wool overcoat and a nice scarf 🙂 Black Friday was kind – these coats are usually $500 and I got it for $200!

We bought ourselves a new sectional couch – so that was a large chunk of each of our “budget” for Christmas gifts for each other.
I got him a new Carhartt heavyweight hoodie and lunchbox, both of which he already has and is using because he did need both of them for work and waiting until Christmas would’ve been a stretch.
I’ll probably order him some American Eagle boxers for stocking stuffers, his favorite Blistex chapstick, maybe a bottle of whiskey for small stocking stuffers.

We kinda just decide on a big gift we want to splurge on. He decided he wanted a VR set so he’s getting that.

for hanukkah, i want to send him to a knife skills class so he can be better in the kitchen.
i took an amazing cooking class before i met him. he’s been the cook in our family since getting married and i think he would love to better his craft.

We’re big nerds, so we bought each other a VR headset and a new computer!

I got him a personalized cartoon of us and our pets drawn to look like Bob’s Burgers. I hope he loves it. He always buys himself whatever he wants, so I have to try to get creative!

I’m not super sure 🤔 but we both decided nothing big, if at all. We are debating buying a house soon or renting again, and he bought an engagement ring and we just took a road trip 900 miles away to be with my family for thanksgiving so I feel like finances feel tighter than normal. We have more off days together this month, so I told him I’d like to drive to the beach or go to a small town in PA, just little day things we can do together and build memories instead of stuff. We have been so busy and I just need some quality time with him.

My husband’s birthday is close to Christmas so the two are kiiiiiinda combined. He said he’d prefer to have his big gift for his birthday so he’s not getting much for Christmas. All that being said I got him a really nice hand sewn hockey jersey for his favorite team for his birthday and we’re going to go to a game + dinner! Then for Christmas he’s getting a video game & some candy!

My husband is getting a new laptop (his is ancient, lol). My kids picked out their own personalized gifts for him. We usually do just stockings for each other (after 20 years, there only so much left 😂). So, he’ll get the usual “fancy” toiletries, some gift cards, lottery tickets and cologne. Oh. and we’re jointly getting an air fryer/oven thingie. Yep… we’re exciting 😜.
