@honie309:  LOL 🙂  I have only recently started to subscribe to that rule.  Of course FI loves it, meanwhile he dresses all scary or in big robes and such.  Not fair.

I think a female Dude (Big Lebowski) would be cool one year… And I’d be at the bar already so white russians would be readily available all evening. 😉

We always drum up a ghoulish ruckuss on Halloween. This was last year’s outfit (I’m the one with the blonde hair and grey extensions!) and I rather fancy a version of the Ghoul Bride this year.

I’m crazy about Halloween, it’s my favorite holiday of the year. I tend to sew my own costumes because store-bought ones are never accurate and they look cheap. Last year I did Effie Trinket, it took me about 3 months to sew the entire Reaping costume and locate the exact fabric they used in the film. It was a big hit because of the popularity of the movie. This year, with the wedding so close, I don’t have as much time to plan and hand-beading a Morticia dress from the Addams family (my original idea) is not going to happen. So I thought that Khaleesi’s blue outfit from Game of Thrones would be much simpler and 1 month lead time is enough for my hairdresser to dye my hair white blonde without completely frying it. Did I mention I love Halloween? Laughing

My fiance and I were going to be Shrek, Fiona, and Paint the dog to look like Donkey, (She’s a Golden Retriever, so nobody will know its not the real Donkey)…BUT we ended up booking a cruise for 8 days…so we’re gonna be Popeye and Olive Oyl in the Carribean, and Shrek & Fiona Next year!

I want to be somewhere tropical for Halloween. I do not even want to think about fall.

This is tough. In the last 3 years we have been

– John and Yoko (I’m asian, he’s white so it was easy)

– Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg (most of our American friends didn’t get it)

– Gothic American Gothic (we basically dressed up like the painting but with Goth makeup and instead of a cameo broach, I had a studded choker and DH had a devil’s pitch fork instead of a rake.)

Not sure what we’ll be this year.  Definitely not Miley and Robin Thicke.

We were going to be super white-trash hillbillys, but My son now wants to be frankentstein so I was thinking about being classic movie monsters, I think I’ll be wolfgirl (I’m pregnant so I have to figure out how to do the bump, I was thinking about making some little wolf puppy heads clawing out, FI could be mummy or something.

Last year FI and I were Zombies and my son was a monster.
