So.. this morning as I was brushing my teeth and getting ready I was doing squats while brushing and then when I was going to walk somewhere ( like to the closet) I did lunges…which is fine except for the fact that my Fiance was awake and watching me! I didn’t know he was awake until I turned around to check out my butt in the mirror and saw him sitting there trying not to laugh!
So… what little rituals or things do you do around the house when no one ( or you THINK) no one is watching?!

I love when I have the house to myself so I can blast music and sing and dance around while I am getting ready in the morning. It is actually one of my favorite things to do. There have been multiple times when someone comes home and even the dogs don’t hear them and they see me giving the song my all and busting a move, and I am not the worlds best singer! Haha

Well I lived alone for 6 months before Darling Husband moved in, so I was used to their never being anyone watching.
So I’ve been caught singing (loudly) dancing around, running to do something quick partially or completely naked, and talking to myself.
Some days I’m surprised that Darling Husband still married me.

HAHAHA!!!! OMG this sounds like Fiance and I!!
I used to catch him doing stuff in the bathroom all the time! Nothing gross. But like, checking out his pores, his hair line, checking out HIS butt and arms, sucking in his stomach. Whenever I see him doign this, I just remain quiet and try not to laugh and watch. Its not that im trying to be mean. and its not like its hilarious, just cute. BUT< now, he locks the door whenver he goes into the bathroom to do ANYTHING… EVEN brush his teeth. lol
But me on the other hand. Im a singer. Not really. In reality, im reallllly reallllly bad. But alone. I sing. and get made fun of when i think im alone. I also do squats when im brushing teeth, blowdrying my hair. I do calf raises when i curl and straighten my hair also haha. He laughs at me too. And when i check out my butt! lol

LOL.. I am very guilty of going on NSYNC dance crazes and signing loudly when I think no one is home and Fiance has caught me a few times and even critiqued by “Bye Bye Bye” dance moves lol
@hisgoosiegirl: also guilty of running around partially and completely naked… how else am I supposed to get to the dryer when what I am wearing is being de-wrinkled?!

It’s not so silly, but when I’m alone in our house, I try to spend as much time as humanly possible in bed. When Darling Husband is out of town, I will walk in from work, grab a bowl of cereal in the kitchen, walk upstairs, change into my PJs and spend the rest of the night in bed eating “dinner” and watching TV/surfing the internet. The only time I will get out is to brush my teeth and pee before I go to sleep. Our bed and bedroom are SO comfortable, that I just don’t see the point in wasting time anywhere else in the house.
If Darling Husband knew how much time I actually spent in bed when he wasn’t home, I don’t think he would believe it.

@newenglandgirl: LOL, that is totally me! This morning I was singing and dancing around to Beyonce’s new song “Countdown.” And trying and faiing to hit notes like her lol.

When I’m home alone I like to play really loud music and sing along while I clean the house. Unfortunately sometimes the music is too loud and I don’t hear my SO come in and he catches me. I’m a pretty horrible singer.

I love it when I’m alone. I dance when I clean, I put on some latin music and just get loose while cleaning the house, I love it. I walk around naked as well hehe…

My SO rubbed off on me and i make up songs for random things im doing. Such as ill be doing laundry and ill sing (to a random made up tune) “and im putttttinnngggg the stinky dirty clothes in the washer the washer the washer!! so they can get clean and clean and clean! and this water is toooo hottttt so ill add some cold and then spin it and spin it and spin it “. there are usually dance moves to go along with it. my dog is usually the only one there to watch and she is pretty used to my antics so she just stares at me. My SO has caught me a few times though and will listen from the top of the stairs or somewhere i cant see him. When i go upstairs he will be sitting on the couch and all of sudden with start singing whatever it was i was singing to let me know he heard it alllllll. its ok though because while he starts to sing ill dance along to it. i have no shame.

I was a ballet dancer for 16 years. With all wood floors in our apartment, I can’t help but to dance everywhere! I’ll do pirouettes in my bedroom as I’m getting ready or make up choreography if I’m listening to music. Fiance has caught me once or twice when he was home, but I love when I’m the only one there and can be a ballerina again! Haha

I sing songs to my cats. A lot. I now have no shame about it though because Darling Husband caught me early on in our relationship and now he does it too, LOL! Darling Husband is worse than me, I caught him… ahem… drying his man parts in front of our fan in the bedroom after a shower once. Oh lord it was terrible! LOL!

What silly things don’t I do?!?
I sing, I dance around, I do things partially clothed, I talk/sing to the dog, I make up ridiculous songs about the dog ….

I dance around like an idiot and sing at the top of my lungs. I’m not a bad singer, but I am shy about singing LOL
Fiance walked in one day while I was cleaning and I had the music up real loud and was belting out a song. When I turned around he was standing there smiling at me but I was embarrassed. Now, I’ll sing karaoke and all, but I’m much more reserved when I sing in front of people. (Admittedly, I sound better when I belt it out, I just don’t have the confidence to do so with an audience LOL)

@sarahbabs: LOL I love singing along just like the singers and trying to hit all the notes they do. If my music is loud enough I tell myself I sound just like them but sometimes I walk to far away from the music and hear myself clearly and think, “that really is awful”. I sing in front of people all the time though, I know it’s bad, but it’s also fun. I have no shame.
