Well I forgot the grocery stores were closed today for Labour Day, so I think we’re having pasta with veggies since that’s almost all I’ve got in the house! Not terribly original.

It was going to be pulled pork, but I didn’t realize that we ran out some ingredients; important ones at that.  So, I think I may do homemade boneless wings for Fiance or burgers/hot dogs.  Haven’t decided yet.  I need to venture into the kitchen to start cleaning soon anyways.  Boo.

We just got our weekly CSA veggies yesterday … there will probably be some gazpacho in the near future, and maybe a Spanish tortilla (i.e. a potato-and-onion omelette); Fiance also requested that sometime soon we make a really tasty potato recipe a friend gave me: basically, you slice a couple of regular potatoes and sweet potatoes and you make a batch of Good Seasons salad dressing with balsamic vinegar, and you replace the water with honey. Then you pan-fry the potatoes in the honey-balsamic dressing. *delicious.* (You can also add greens or other veggies to it if you like.)

We just threw stuff into the slow cooker for butter chicken.  We added chickpeas and baby corn, but we’ll still have to figure out some decent veggies – probably just some frozen mixture or broccoli from the freezer.
