Another Sydney bee here… even though I’m in Thailand at the moment, I hope it still counts! (I’ll admit that sometimes I really miss Oz… sometimes I’ll listen to ads on smh.com.au just to hear an Aussie accent!)

@Misfit: I’m glad you thought that was cute. I thought it was sad πŸ˜€

Yep, I’ll be back in Oz – in June, just before our wedding on 2nd July. I’m hoping I don’t freeze after two years of Thai weather! Fiance is Scandinavian, though, so he’ll feel right at home πŸ™‚ Winter days in Sydney are like those days in Scandinavia where everyone celebrates and breaks out the shorts πŸ˜€

@Owlie: he he, i hear you on that – i’m from Canada and the days in Syd when I’m rugged up in a puffy coat and boots, I’d be in a tshirt and thongs in Toronto!  Its funny how your attitude to weather changes – in Canada a high of 15 degrees would be a nice spring day – in Sydney its arctic!!

Where are you getting married??  Are you excited to be back?

@Owlie: That’s so exciting! You prob. wont freeze….. but you can always buy a really cute cardigan or little jacket or something just in case.

@ScarletBegonia: I’m jealous! I always wanted to go to canada!!

And here I am getting all excited because its so much colder, rainier and cloudier in NSW than Perth!! (I just moved. Like…. yesterday.) hehehe.

The leaves are falling… its HAPPENING.

Was a lovely warm day in Ballarat/Melbourne today. I have to tell you though, I’m getting so sick of the 2 hour commute there and 2 hours back on the train. Today I caught the 11am train, was at uni for all of 5 minutes to drop off an assignment, the got home around 4. So exhausting!

Perth here! Well, Rockingham, about half hour south of the CBD. These boards have been such a great help with all my planning, except trying to convince the mr that invites have to be formal (i.e. write the date in full) for a formal event lol

hoping that the weather ocntinues for a little longer – we are getting 31/32 this week, and with setting early June we are hoping that its still in the mid twenties when we get there… fingers crossed!

@ScarletBegonia,
Well, it gets cold here in Thailand too…

For instance, although it’s meant to be hot season right now, it only got to 24 degrees!! I snuggled up with a hot chocolate this afternoon… brrrrr πŸ™‚

We’ll be getting married in Sydney, where I’ve pretty much spent my whole life up till the past two years. It’ll be great to be back – not just to see family & friends & meet my gorgeous niece, but also to sink my teeth into a really good meat pie. I’ve missed them!

@Misfit: Thanks! Great idea! I’m going to shamelessly steal it from you πŸ™‚ Hope everything goes well with the moving!

@Owlie: Thank you! Everything is going okay atm except that i’m all snuffily. I dont think my nose is used to the changes here (cold/dif. plants etc) which really sucks. But i’m doin’ fine. πŸ˜›

@Owlie: I love that 24 degrees has you rugging up with hot chocolate! The other day when I got up to go to uni the thermostat said 1. 1 Fricken degree. I put my towel and my undies in the dryer to warm up while I had my shower. πŸ™‚
