@jaguar:

The wedding is in Surry Hills, but the reception is all the way in the Hills at the other end of town… budget constraints, gotta love ’em!

@Misfit: Poor you! I work in a primary school and five of my kiddies were off this past week with colds and flus and the like. They also managed to pass on coughs to me, which was so thoughtful of them! πŸ˜‰

@Roux: That cold already? Wow! It was 30o in Western Sydney today, then we had a crazy thunderstorm.

@Owlie: I hear ya! So your reception is still in Surry Hills, or the Hills District? I have a friend who lives in SH, nice spot. πŸ™‚

Is it the weekend yet?

@Misfit: I am counting down for some relax time. *snores*

It’s so nice to have this board more active. I look forward to checking it out of an evening. We should do some specific Aussie ‘chatter’ threads, to keep everyone in touch! πŸ™‚

@jaguar: Yes it really is that cold! But in Ballarat it is always so much colder than everywhere else. Plus our house has no insulation.

@jaguar: I second that! Time to relax!

I’d love to have Aussie threads. That’d be cool. πŸ™‚ I kinda feel like i’m thread-jacking this one. πŸ˜›

@Roux: I’m going to be driving through Ballarat in a week or so!  I’ll have to pack my warm and woollies.

I also love that this thread is active!  I’m in a foul mood – took the day off yesterday and i’m annoyed to be back at work…and the weather isn’t helping.  I’m a Bridesmaid or Best Man at a wedding this weekend and I’m not prepared at all.  Wah!
