So my SO other and I have a tight Xmas budget since he is in school. I am trying to get creative in what I give him and I saw the “Year of Dates” present on pinterest. Basically, you prepare a date a month for SO and yourself, and prepay for date or include the money you would use for the date in the package. So you are gifting your SO with a year of dates…I am taking into consideration his likes and we are doing things he mainly likes ex. hiking, starbucks and browsing books, star wars marathon etc.
What do you bees think of this? I don’t want this to be totally cheesy and him hate it.

@missjewels: He’ll probably like that it takes the stress of planning something off of him… but if you’re on a budget that sounds expensive!!

I’m sort of impartial about these types of gifts because I want to say that most men don’t like this kind of stuff. However, you know him best and maybe it is something he would love. I know my husband would pretend to like it, but we’d never implement it and it would go to waste.

@mchitt329: I think it sounds aweeesome! And I know my Fiance would love me planning some dates ;0) But I would also think this would be expensive. I can’t even afford to take him on 1 date 🙁

@missjewels: If this is stuff you’d do anyway, like go to Sbux.. then I think it might not be the best gift, but if you’re able to come up w. original dates that he’d like then why not?
