We’re having ours sent to the FIL’s house. Is there anyone else who can receive your packages? Even if they are out of town (but driving distance), you can always pick them up periodically. You can also see about getting packages delivered will call from UPS/Fedex, and possibly about getting a PO Box for USPS deliveries.

Can you make arrangements so packages require a signature? That way if you are not home, you can pick them up at the post office or arrange for delivery when you are home. Otherwise, you could put a lockbox outside and have the delivery person lock it once they’ve put the package inside.

My sister had all her gifts shipped to my parents house for that reason.

I woudn’t really recommend having them shipped to work, because your company might get annoyed.

Another option would be to inform the post office/UPS/FedEx not to drop off packages- I think there might be a way to have them hold them at the nearest location for pickup.

Or, what about a box at Kinko’s or Mailboxes, etc. type place that will hold them for you?
