I went to La Rose Alterations in Westminster. My bff used her and loved everything she did so it was nice to have a referral.

I waited until I found my shoes and she ended up not being able to fit me in until my wedding month! But she made sure to work with my schedule and everything was done in time. I had the hem removed, length cut, and put back on (lace dress) so that was the priciest part. I also had cups sewn in, some nipping and tucking, french bustle added and torso and straps shortened. It came to about $400, but I know it would’ve cost so much more if I went anywhere in South County.

I used Mahtab in Laguna Niguel.  She works out of her home and she was fabulous.  Easy to schedule, very timely work and reasonable.  She has amazing reviews.  She was also really honest – my dress was dragging a bit and I thought I would need it hemmed but she told me to just wear an inch higher shoes and I wouldn’t need to, saving me a lot of money.

Shelly did an amazing job on my wedding dress a few years ago. I’ve since had her alter 2 other dresses for me; recently, my baby sister had Shelly do alterations on her wedding dress as well. She is very skilled and very affordable.

I second Mahtab! I was really nervous about getting my dress altered…must be from all the horror stories I’ve read on the bee lol but she was was really good.

She was honest and reasonably priced and gave good opinions on what needed to be done to my dress. Just be sure to book early as she only takes a limited number of dresses each month.
