For a minute I thought you may have been seated at Table 8 from the Wedding Singer movie! That’s so super rude, even if you don’t know each other you should always try to make small talk. And to steal the dessert, oh no way jose that’s just wrong!

@2ndtime:That is so rude!! I hate that uncomfortable feeling at a wedding. They must have been a bunch of big pigs lol. Thats Why I am afraid to do our seating charts I dont want anyone to feel that way at our wedding!

God, they sound like the kind of people who bring Tupperware to a buffet. Who knows, maybe they did.

Ugh. So rude. Right up there with the mother of the groom just sitting at table by herself, sulking with her husband, when the guests were mostly her family! (Yup, our wedding, lol)

I’d contact the bride and ask for the names of the people who sat at your table because you hit it off so well (ha!) and you’d like to be able to contact them… and then sign them up for lots of junk mail. 😀

@lefeymw: Saran Wrap in the pockets is the clever MacGyver solution. Tupperware is the lazy man’s way of saying, “Ima just take all these piggies-in-a-blanket, and you’ll be too shocked to say anything as I seal them in with a patented burp.”

OMG… wow…

I think what bugs me more is them not socializing with you.  I mean it would be cool to have a dessert, dont get me wrong, but still.. ROOOOOOD….  you guys are all there celebrating someone you all obviously have a common interest in, and they had NOTHING to say to you?

Lame-o.  the dessert thing just tops it off.

@lefeymw: I had a great-aunt who used to do that! She would apparently even put huge ziplock bags in her purse, and then ask waiters to bring more bread! She died before I was born, but luckily no one else in the family got the ziplock-gene :).

That’s so rude, 2ndtime! I’m sorry you were robbed of dessert :(.
