Not sure where in South Florida you’re looking but did you look at Vizcaya in Miami?

I also think the Coral Gables neighborhood in Miami could have possibilities, since it’s got lots of old coral walls, big trees with spanish moss, garden-not-beach type feel!

Also, I forgot this one, my cousin got married at Parrot Jungle Island and it was GORGEOUS!

Miami Beach Botanical Garden is my daughter’s venue. Beautiful and affordable.

Truth?  I was going to say the Sundyhouse, but another bee beat me to it!!!  I grew up down here (and am having my wedding here as well).  We had the engagement party at the sundy house and honestly, got the best reactions to it.  If my Fiance and I didn’t want beachy, that’s where we’d get married.

My sister wants to get married at Vizcaya, but my father said that if she choosing that … he’ll kill her (bc of price).  lol  But, good luck!!!

I’m using the Old School Square Vintage Gym in Delray Beach.  Not outdoors, but good plan in case of weather.  I think you can arrange a ceremony out front in the trees, then reception in the gym.

Good Luck!

@Jen4414: I live in Jupiter and we are having both our ceremony and reception at Ibis Golf & Country Club in WPB. We aren’t into the beachy thing either for a wedding. Our ceremony will be in the courtyard outside on the golf course (mid November wedding), and the reception will be upstairs in the ballroom. They are amazing to work with- so helpful and accomodating! I can give you more info if you would like! Let me know if you want my email address!
