I had mine soldered and I’m still happy with that decision 2 years later. I have two curved bands + the ering, so it just made sense to have them soldered so they wouldn’t spin. And I have a few (much less expensive) stand in rings I wear if I’m on vacation, or just want something simple etc.

I didn’t vote, because I’m kind of in between answers. I had my rings soldered because the diamonds that go around my band and ering don’t go all around. So they line up but only at a certain point. I got the soldered so that they would always be lined up, so I wouldn’t be constantly fixing my rings because it really bugged me when the diamonds weren’t lined up. But sometimes I do wish I didn’t solder them, because there are times where I want to take my erong of so it doesn’t get damaged, but still want my band on because I’ve been wearing a ring on my ring finger since I was 14 (my dad gave me a purity ring for my 14th birthday). So my finger feels naked without a ring on it.

I didn’t solder my rings together and I never will.  I love to wear my wedding band by itself or with a different ring besides my ering.  If I’m wearing a very elaborate right-hand ring I tend to just wear my wedding band too.  Every once in awile I also wear my ering by itself although that’s pretty rare.  I like having multiple options.

I got mine soldered because I wanyed them to always line up, not to spin and wear away my engagement ring and also because I found it easier. I think mine are smaller now just slightly. I’m really happy with it and glad ichose to

i soldered my rings to minimize wear and tear from them rubbing against each other and also so that they would always be aligned. i had them soldered about a month before my wedding almost two years ago and i have no regrets.

I will not have mine soldered, because I want the option to wear my wedding band only. I work with my hands and my e-ring is very high set. It will be far less cumbersome (and will protect my e-ring) to wear the band alone when I am at work.

I didn’t because I originally wanted the option to wear my band alone. Now that I have issues with my band spinning I wish I could get them soldered. The rings are from different places and if I go with my e-ring jeweler it voids the band warranty and it I go with my band jeweler it voids my e-ring warranty.

Yup, did it. Love it still. I hate spinning rings.

I won’t solder mine because I want to always have the option to wear my wedding band alone. I prefer my rings to spin so spinning and/or not lining up doesn’t bother me. I don’t have any experience with a wrap but soldering is a good idea to prevent rubbing or damage on prongs, like you were told. And if you don’t like having the rings soldered, I believe you can unsolder them as well. ( don’t quote me on this)

I won’t be soldering mine.. I want to be able to wear my wedding band or engagement ring seperately if I feel like it!

I have a wedding band and an anniversary band, and Darling Husband will likely be buying another diamond band soon. I like having the option of wearing one band with my ER, or stacking if I feel like it, so I really prefer the versatility of separate rings.
