I want to get my e-ring and wedding ring (solitaire enhancer) soldered together before the wedding, because they tend to slide apart and i know if I see them sliding apart in pictures it will drive me NUTS! However i don’t want to have to give my ring up for that long before the wedding… does anyone know approximately how long this process takes?
here is a pic of my rings sliding apart. This was not intentional, I was just taking a picture and then noticed they were apart. Thats how easily this happens.

I had to get my ring sized down almost a full size, I brought it to them and they had it back to me the next day, so I wouldnt think soldering rings together would take much longer then that, depending on where you go

I plan on getting my e-ring and wedding band soldered together before my wedding. At Peoples/Zales, it takes 10 days and is free if you have the warranty on both rings. i’ll probably go in 20 days or even 30 days prior and wear a stand-in ring until the wedding. During the ceremony, I will even use a stand-in wedding band that is similar to mine in a larger size so my fiance doesn’t struggle with it over my large knuckle.
The issue with mine is that they are sized large enough to go over my knuckle but spin all the time on my finger. They don’t sit flush so the metals rub quite a lot. They should spin a lot less and be better preserved once they are soldered.
