Just got mine today!  I am swapping this upgrade diamond into my original setting and setting my slightly smaller original diamond back into this solitaire setting.  I hope to get a rose gold solitaire setting in the future.

@Merinda1994:  Beautiful ring! Congrats! I actually have a diamond halo engagement ring but love solitaires too. Here is my Tiffany & Co diamond solitaire right hand ring–pardon my awful nails! Wearing it on my left hand here

I love solitaires! I actually went from a halo with a 1.4 cushion moissy center to a 2.01 solitaire diamond just last month. Rock on solitaire ladies!

I love solitaires too! Your stone is beautiful & congrats on the new engagement!  Getting engaged is so much fun ๐Ÿ™‚ There are so many really beautiful semi – mounts out there, but there’s just something about a solitaire that I think is just the epitome of beautiful…and round ones at that. All diamonds are pretty, those are just my favorite.   I wouldn’t want anything else. I’m like you where I like the showcase of the diamond. But again, there are some gorgeous sparkling settings in existence.  I love my ring so much. My fiancé chose am amazing diamond … In my eyes.  This is the very first picture I ever took of my ring…The day I got engaged.  It looks tight on my finger for some reason but it’s actually really loose…does gold expand?  It’s a 1.5 carat but this picture makes it appear smaller. Mines a near colorless (isn’t that what they call the D, E, F group?)  & an ideal cut, like yours ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m really proud of it because my fiancé picked everything out himself.  I told him I liked round & a tiny bit thicker band than the traditional. It’s very special to me.
