@mrspinesol:  we agree, as you yourself said: moissanite doesn’t exist on this planet. You’re right, it is a  big Universe, possibly a planet rife with moissanite or cubic zirconia (cz) or something new will be discovered sometime in the future.

However until then,we only have the earth and today! :-). C&C will continue to strive to improve their manufacturing process of thei doped synthetic silicon carbide to try to make it  more white and more diamond like for continued use as a simulant.

Me too and You’re absolutely right. I didn’t think what I said earlier about people upgrading was controversial or inflammatory.I just posted what I thought was obvious. I apologize if I’ve side tracked your thread.

@mrspinesol:  Thank you so much!  My DH was never completely on board the moissy train and my unenhanced stone (while gorgeous) did bug me in certain lights – it looked yellowish – in others it was a gorgeous discoball of fire and looked perfectly white –  but yes the yellow look did bug me. I still love it but it isn’t the forever stone for me. Now FB or Amora may be perfectly fine, never seen them so I don’t know.  In the end, DH did what he wanted to do all along and got a diamond along with this band as an upgrade for Christmas and my birthday.

@Merinda1994:  Not my engagement rings, but I like any excuse to share some pictures of bling! Here are two of my RHRs; both 0.25ct diamond solitaires, one in a yellow gold setting, one in silver:

There’s something so beautiful about solitaires! I love the fact that it goes with any outfit, situation, and other jewellery 😀 Here’s my 0.75ct solitaire.
