it does seem a tad high set, and the prongs seem a bit large from birds eye – they couldve made it more dainty. still a beautiful ring!

I feel like the diamond isn’t fully secure, but I’m not an expert.  This is what mine looks like from the side it is set low and nestled inside the prongs. Is this how it was set before ?

It looks like a stock head that was made to accomodate a larger sized diamond.

 

It’s a beautiful ring though!

It’s lovely but I’d personally take it back in and have the prongs shaved down a bit and the stone lowered. It’s set very high.

It definitely looks like the setting isn’t right for that diamond, it seems too big and bulky for the size of the diamond.

Agree w/PP.  The setting appears to be too large for the diamond, so it is set too high and the prongs overwhelm the stone.
