I had the same dilemma. When we first started looking I was SURE I wanted a micropave halo no if’s, and’s or but’s. But then the traditional side of me took over and I feel like i got the best of both worlds in a micropave setting with a solitaire stone.

Your ring is absolutely gorgeous so whatever you decide, I know it will be stunning!!!

@fortheloveofsoccer:  You could change the setting to a micropave band but keep the solitaire. I love the look of solitaires on pave bands!

@fortheloveofsoccer:  I think with a stone the size of yours it doesn’t need a halo. I am definitely not a fan of halos (although I can like some but very few and they’re usually split shank). I would personally get bored of any style too fast so I chose solitaire. How about wearing the solitaire and if in a few years you are absolutely sure that you want a halo get it then?

Welcome to the hive and congrats!  Your ring is beutiful!!  If you are still undecided, why not keep it as a solitaire for now and upgrade it later.

What about a wrapped wedding band? That way you can wear it as a halo sometimes, as a solitaire other times.
