- Wedding: January 2011
I’ve been married for a while now and I feel just awful that once I was married, I sort of left the website and the bees without possible good advice based on my experiences. It’s time to return the favor of those who helped me before my wedding.
I am allergic to flowers. Not to all flowers but most. Such as roses, and lilliums and orchids. As you can imagine that causes a serious problem when planning a wedding.
For those brides to be who are allergic to flowers or who are on a low budget and cannot spend too much on flowers, I may have a solution for you. Baby’s breath.
For my wedding we surrounded the hall in elegant bouquets of baby’s breath. if you are not familiar with this flower, let me remind you where you have seen it last. Florists often use baby’s breath as a filler for rose bouquets. They are the tiny white snow flake looking flowers. It doesn’t have a scent and it’s rather cheap.
When placed in large groups, they look very sweet and angelic which is ideal for a wedding. With darker green leaves, it contrasts well and with candles it glows like tiny snow flakes. Even if your budget allows roses you may consider it for it’s gentle beauty.
I hope this helps to anyone with this type of problem. Have a wonderful wedding !! and even better a better marriage 🙂
