Yes, but nothing that I’ve purchased (always a gift/hand-me-down). I just don’t really buy clothes, so this isn’t an issue for me. However, I craft, so I can always scrap clothes for fabric.

I do this all the time. SO never knows what I buy/have hanging in the closet and wouldn’t care anyway!

Yes, there have been times when I’ve bought an outfit and then never worn it…either because it didn’t look right (even though I tried it on in the shop) or I just never ended up going somewhere where the outfit would be suitable.
I try to wear all my clothes now though.

Yup. Just cleaned out my closet. I’ve lost 40+ lbs. and I plan to put some tagged clothes on ebay.

If by throw away you mean give away, yes of course! But I always donate to a thrift store – reduce reuse recycle, baby.

One of my friends talked me into getting a pair of boots with kitten heels. They’re very cute and I like the look of them, however I am a sneaker girl and no matter how hard I try I simply can’t get the hang of walking in those dang boots. I’ve wobbled around the apartment in them several times, but I’ve never worn them anywhere. They are still hanging out in the closet waiting for me to develop magical heel walking skills. If I end up needing the space though they are at the top of the donate list.

@Bebealways: Was he man PMS-ing? I don’t go through my closet often but when I do LOOK OUT! And on a daily basis if you look through it 5 or more items still have their tags on them. I’m worse with shoes, but I don’t get rid of them, I just hoard them!
Tell him to take a chill pill, it’s a woman thing.

Yes, it’s happened to me and I threw the items out without any guilt. It was a mistake or a poor judgment call, not a pattern.

I’ve definitely donated things to goodwill that still had tags on them.

well I never throw away anything unless it”s stained or old socks and underwear , but I have and do give away or sell things that I haven’t worn before. It doesn’t happen a lot but occasionally I’ll buy something and just never use it, it happens to everyone!
also he needs to calm down, it was a $12 dress, not a $1200 dress!

@Bebealways: Of course I have, I’ve bought things I thought would be amazing at XYZ event, but never happened to go to XYZ and just kept the garment for awhile.
I bought things I thought would look great if I also bought _____, but never did.
I’ve bought things off the rack I thought I loved then never wore.
I’m a super cheapo, so it doesn’t happen all the time, but every once in awhile it happens to all of us.
