@mrscandyv:  While I cannot say yay or nay about the xray bit, I thought I’d come in and offer some advice about PCOS.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2008 and had very unreliable cycles and was very infertile. I had one ectopic pregnancy and one miscarriage among at least 2 years of nothing.

I tried metformin, timing my cycles, charting etc etc and was thinking of moving onto clomid or something similar when I discovered an incredible way to basically reverse PCOS naturally.

PCOS is a type of insulin resistance in your body that affects your fertility and causes a lot of side effects. The way to cure/help insulin resistance is very similar to the way a diabetic would treat their diabetes. I stopped eating gluten and most carbs, stuck to natural foods, exercised regularly and within a month, my cycle was normal for the first time in my life and within 6 months I had conceived completely naturally.

Just thought I’d share my success with you, good luck in your journey, whatever it is you do.

I also have no advice about the Xray- sorry.

I did want to chime in about the PCOS though, because I know how heartbreaking it feels. I have secondary infertility due to PCOS as well as endo.

I started my mission to healing with better nutrition (whole foods) and regular exercise about two years ago and have seen a vast difference in my cycles since then. Stick with it & you will see changes!

Additionally, I am about to begin taking low doses of nacent iodine. A quick google search and you can read other experiences with this, but I’ve read several testimonies of women shrinking their cysts and restoring their fertility with nascent iodine.

Of course, you should consult your DR before doing anything. I just wanted to toss this your way as something to discuss with them! 🙂
