Have been busy trying on a few dresses to get some idea of what I like/looks good on me!
My daughter isn’t the best at taking photos and I am not the best at posing so the photos probably don’t do the dresses justice – would like some comments though – good or bad!

I love the strapless one on you. It’s very elegant. I was also drawn to the clemence one. The only one I didn’t like was the sequin one — the cut of it is just too plain, I think.

I like the first or second, but if you go with the first I would suggest altering the straps.
You’ve tried on several different styles — which goes with your decor and theme for your day?

Number 2 or number 5! They are both gorgeous on you.

I’ve liked the last one, but I like the second one in this group even better.

@inspiredcreations: Ditto, dress 2 or 5. I also like one, but the top definitely needs some work so it fits you properly. You look beautiful by the way!

You have a beautiful pear shape. The first dress is the least flattering because I think it is just TOO MUCH fabric. The second one it too young and what I mean is, it looks a bit pre-teen. I love the 3rd one on you. When I first saw your post about the 4th one, I did not like the top portion where it is sheer but I like it now. It is a bit different and that is always nice!

Thank you ladies it is so good to get your opinions! I really didn’t like the second one and only tried it on because I have heard how you should try on ones that you really don’t think are you!!
The first one definitely needs alterations to the top because it was much too big and the sequin one I would alter the neckline because it is a bit ‘plain’. However all the dresses were very reasonable so would be able to spend a bit on altering.
The strapless one I liked a lot but feel the photo makes me look awful – I did try getting my daughter to do videos but that was such a laugh – we have some lovely pics of her nails, the inside of her carrier bag, the beautiful wooden floor in the store but not much of me in the dresses!
Never mind this is all such fun!

@mchitt329: I think they all do to a certain extent. Our venue is a modern hotel so I am looking at something quite up to date so probably 2 goes the least.

I think the second one is very flattering. I think the last one is interesting and looks good, but I think the second one is more flattering.
