Who cares what she thinks? Who cares what the Bee thinks? I really don’t understand questions like this.  The only thing that matters is that YOU love it.  Sheesh.

@Mrs_BunInTheOven:  Definitely not too much! It’s gorgeous! And she is a tool for saying anything…

It’s got too much going on for my taste, maybe that’s what she meant.

However, if she just volunteered that info without you bringing up your ring first, that was unneccesary and rude.

You know, it’s possible to not like something without it being because you’re jealous. I don’t like diamonds, period, and I really don’t like big ones.

But it’s definitely rude of her to say so. Then again, did you ask what she thought?

Someone literally just asked me a few days ago. “How can you guys be hurting for money when you have a ring like that?” We are not by no means “hurting for money” we are simply looking for a way to come up with an extra 1K for the wedding and I am not having much luck…FIRST OF ALL! Second, my ring is a CZ and we spent all of 50 bucks on it max, lastly, its none of your business. I simply stood up and walked out of the break room.

I love it.. I love the skinny band and love oval diamonds!!! Even if I thought someone’s ring was the worst thing ever, I would NEVER say that to them.  She is either a) jealous or b) wanted to take you down a peg – not nice

It’s not too much at all. I just had a co worker look at my ring yesterday and tell me how stupid I was. *eyeroll*. Some people are just dipshits.

I haven’t had anyone make an unsolicited comments on my engagement ring. I must be doing it wrong.

Who cares what she thinks? Also your wedding band with your e ring is a bit much but if you like it that’s all that matters.

@Mrs_BunInTheOven:  I think it’s pretty.  I don’t know your age or anything but seems like the younger girls with larger diamonds (real diamond or not) get more questions/flak/negativityfrom others…So would wonder if she thought it fake?

OTOH Some people have no sense and just blurt stuff out.

In any event, it’s beautiful, you love it and thats all that matters.

Congratulations and best wishes.

It’s big, but it’s not ostentatious or anything. Regardless, it was incredibly rude of her.

@Mrs_BunInTheOven:  What a rude woman! No, it is 100% divine! My “best friend” had nothing but negativity about my Ering. She even bothered texting my Fiance saying he spent too much on it. Wtf?? Women.

i think your ring is pretty but I don’t really understand why you posted this. It is you who needs to love your ring, not other people. Also, maybe you just have an incredibly rude coworker…or maybe you asked if it was too big or maybe you asked if she liked it. It’s not the worst thing in the world to have someone who tells you how they really feel!
