With my wedding band. When I last replied my band was being polished. I just LOVE my set! I would never be able to afford a set like this in actual diamond. Not sure I would want to anyway due to the hype the diamond industry gives diamonds anyway.

i understand your disappointment. When i recieved my ring from moissaniteco i was a little turned off…but i was inside in crappy lighting when i opened the box. i took it outside and in diff lighting around my house and i fell in love. even my original diamond engagement ring does not look super sparklie is all lighting. when i compare my diamond to my moissy…i do notice that moissy sparkles more (duh). i like the color of moissy more…i have a si1 yellowish diamond…so moissy surpasses it. i do not pass my moissy off as diamond…i have been asked by family if its diamond and i tell them its not. i do not pass it off as a diamond and am rather embarrassed that ppl think it is a diamond…im not a diamond girl…i love moissy. just my preference.

This is a FB 2 carat moissanite . I think it’s a beautiful gem on its own and shouldn’t be passed as a diamond. There is now F1 and amora gem which are colorless stone. I chose a moissanite stone for its price, hardness, beauty and C&C have a warranty card . This is a gift I bought for my wife for giving birth to our first child recently. My original engagement ring is a solitare 0.5 diamond and 9 baht of pure gold necklaces ( bride price).

def not a fan of moissy, i do understand that bees are not getting moissys to look like they have a diamond, but they really do give the impression that they are trying to be diamonds but look like they are fake diamonds as opposed to another gem altogether….. but each to their own

I myself got a white sapphire. Many jewelers stated a white sapphire would be a ‘bad’ choice. I actually went along with that. Then later I saw a white sapphire at the mall and inspected it. I thought the stone was great. I talked to a couple jewelry designers about my choice and they said there was nothing wrong with that stone. Anyway… My point is I saw it in person which helped me make my choice. I don’t think I would have ever picked a white sapphire had I not seen one in person.
I’ve never seen a mossy in person. I thought about getting one. From what I understand it is much more shine/ reflections than a diamond. I don’t feel this would bother me. I do wish I could see a mossy one day in person. And I will end on a question… Op… You said your mossy was more yellow than a diamond? Aren’t there mossys not that are less yellow?

it’s a five year old thread that someone else revived so she probably isn’t coming back, but I think she got a moissy before they were able to make them the icy white color the new forever 1 (hope that’s right) that a lot of bees have.
So if you want one, you can definitely get them icy white now. I’ll leave the rest to someine who can personally vouch for the whiteness, but in pics shared on the bee they look a lot whiter than when they started out.

i have a moissanite ring and wedding bands and i love them, no one ever questions whether its real or not. I think it depends on the quality, i know my DH got the highest quality he could get through moissaniteco.
Do you have a photo of the ring, would love to see.

If you are looking to know how Moissanite is different than Diamond (aside from the chemical make-up being completely different Silicon Carbonite – Moissanite and Carbon – Diamond) This is a pretty cool website with a video

I’m glad I found this – we really can’t afford a nice diamond but I am not about to wear a ring that looks like it’s obviously NOT a diamond.. I saw an F1 in a jewelry store and it looked awesome.. the prob is you need to see it outside in the sunlight to decide if it’s for you .. t’s fine that people are getting alternatives.. very cool.. it just seems like there’s a lot of fraudulent reviews and accts all over the net pushing people to buy it.. I noticed everyone says the same line.. something about it being a beautiful gem .: also a lot of fake accts that are run by Anita gen people
