Hi everyone, I’d like your help with some ideas please.
I’ve got my partner a gift that he’s going to love but it’s tickets to a rugby game and a stay in a nice hotel for two nights and as it stands all I have to show him are some printouts of the booking confirmation.
I did a similar thing last year and to present the gift nicely and make it seem like he’d actually got something to open, I made a dvd slide show with photos of where I was taking him, he loved it but I want to do something different this year.
any ideas how I can show him what I’ve got him without just giving him printouts?

You could also do the box in a box in a box trick. The very last and smallest box containing the printout info

Do you have room in the budget to add in a jersey or a rugby ball?

Thank you for the good ideas. I did think about getting him a hoody and wrapping the tickets in that but I can’t find one he’d like, he’s a bit fussy with clothes.

broccoli2309 : I love the box in a box trick!
You could also put it all in a nice frame and present that as the gift.

shorty123 : You could do something similar to the candy bar greeting card,
but instead use pictures of things that rhyme with “tickets” to keep him guessing.
brick hut, cricket, wicket, kick it, picket etc
You could make it a series of questions using those words as answers.
Make the last question “What do you need to attend the ____ vs ___ game?

We got my parent’s a vacation last year for Christmas and I put together a box with a calendar, luggage tags, t-shirts and a book about the location. I think the shirt or hoodie idea is great! Or stick them in an envelope and tape it under his favorite 6-pack of beer haha
