So, here is some of my wedding DIY! my mom sewed the ring bearer pillows and I decorated and added embellishment (rhinestone,
pearls, crystals, lace, ribbon, etc.)
i also spray painted the Girlfriend baskets white, added lace, pink ribbon, and the cloth flower and rhinestones, so that too was close to from scratch.
We are Greek Orthodox, so we have to wear Stefana or crowns in the ceremony, so I purchased metal rings used for Dream Catchers (they are big enough food our heads) and meticulously glued in white ribbon on, the a fine string of pearls. A pair of crowns like that in Etsy or other sites was retaling for almost $100+. It’s crazy! I think I spent about $20 on them.
I also mostly DIY’d my invitations. I ordered the. cards, Reception cards and RSVP cards from Vista Print. I was so unhappy with the products they sent me that I found ways to beautifu then- mpunting onto premier shimmer card stock, satin ribbon, ETc. Did anyone else find the invitations to be the logest, most drawn out process? I also did the calligraphy on all the envelopes.
