Good gravy I think I’ve gone ring obsessed. Everytime I think I’ve decided which one I want, I just happen to find a new one and then suddenly I want that one instead.
I thought I had it planned out. But then I was looking at pictures on here and then suddenly BOOM. Oops, now I want a solitaire. Again. SLHGSLGJ.
I’m sure my Fiance is ready to kill me. The only reason he hasnt ordered a ring at this point is because he’s scared I’m going to find another one when he does and wont love the ring he orders.
I have an addiction. I need to be cured.

why dont you get some stand in ones…like cheap ones in similar settings you are looking at and wear them for a bit and see which you like better

You should go to a store and try some on. I like rings better in pictures than I do in person.

I have the same problem!
I have changed my mind so many times in the past two months….and still don’t have a ring! Here’s one that my boo had put a deposit on. It has a .59 ct center. I personally want a 1ct (min) center.

@MrsHoneyC: I did a few weeks ago and it the results were very even. Actually I think they both had the exact same number of votes. XD
But now I’ve found a different one from one of the ones in the poll. Lmao.
@GelaMac: Possibly. The only thing though is that two of the rings I like, I havent seen anything like them cheap enough to be a stand in. The solitaire would be easy enough, though.
@fry: The kinds of rings I want arent common in jewelry stores. I ONLY want a colored gemstone, and it has to be under $300.

The worst part, for me, is that I know what I would probably get, no hesitations…. But they dont make it in my size. =(
But I would probably get the blue topaz one instead. The highest size they’ll make it is an 8.5, and I need at least a 9, preferably 9.25. I just think it is so beautiful and unique.

Welcome to the club. I still do this. lol

@allyfally: Join the club. I have gone a magical 2 weeks without changing my mind. I’ve come full circle *rolls eyes*.
Solitaire is wise – that’s what I’m back to. I get bored so easily that something super classical and elegant is probably the best… less likely to get sick of it!

- Wedding: June 2009 - Mountain Meadow/Mansion
I think it’s pretty normal! I’ve been married 3 years and I still love to look (Pre-engagement I wanted a round halo, a round solitare and asscher, a cushion and an emerald, which is what I liked most last! I’d love any of the others though!) I do agree with PP; it’s a lot like shopping for a dress. Once you find what you want, you have to stop looking for awhile! And the fact that your Fiance bought it for you and picked it out will hopefully seal the deal for you (or it did for me, anyway).

Solitaires are awesome! Partially because I have one, and partially because they are very classic and timeless.

I was like that. You name it, I loved it. It was THE ONE. In the end, we picked a solitaire because it will never go out of style. I think the engagement ring should be timeless. You’ll wear it every day, year after year. That’s the great thing about RHR’s, they can be different and you can switch them up 🙂

You could always have alot of right hand rings!
