Oh, don’t beat yourself up – you’ve gone through major life changes! Something has to slip. You just need to tone up and you’ll feel much better about yourself. Muscle memory is a wonderful thing so it won’t take you long to feel fitter again. Chin up, bee!

“Skinny fat” is totally real and don’t let anyone knock you about it. Less extended cardio, more weight training! There are some great plans online that are easy to follow.

my hubby told me one day im skinny fat as a joke and i was so beyond offended as im skinny but have never been able to lose my little pooch completely even when i exercised like crazy and ate perfectly healthy food. Now that im pregnant i just dont care anymore as the belly is obviously going to grow.. but i think right now the most important thing is that you are healthy you have a healthy 1 yr old and things will slowly get back to normal dont be tough on yourself, the more you stress the less it goes away.

Haha I’m 5’2 and 108 as well I know completely of being “skinny” but still have all this fat lingering around under my arms and thighs…before I used to work out with my FIs help. I can say I was the healthiest I’ve ever been in but because of the injury in my back I’ve lost all the fun of working out again. I’m back to square one. It makes me feel like wow…how did I let myself get this way not exercising again? 

Listen being skinny with fat at 108 lbs is not the same as having muscle fat at the same weight. 

For ex. From the internet. You can see the difference in weight.

 They’re all sexy to me in the before and after pic regardless. Dont think you not having tight abs and rocking body isnt sexy. I know chicks who rock dudes out of town with their over weight bodies. No prob at all!! Just be careful in the long run being healthy is the winner here 🙂 I know a chick who is as healthy as an ox just being over 180lbs.  Prefect cholestrol points. No high blood sugar. Nothing. Its possible….genes related probably

Cut the cardio to 3 days a week. Start weight training.

Yes definitely start weight training! Building muscle will help you gain lean muscle and tone.

saq4718:  Definitely don’t focus on cardio, focus on weight training and HIIT workouts.  Also, don’t let the number on the scale dictate how you feel- as illustrated by the picture above, a higher weight does not necessarily equal more fat gained.

I’m trying to wrap my head around this. Based on this chart it looks like you could be close to underweight? I know everyone’s body is different.
