Just tell her. I’d rather be embarrased by one person telling me it is showing then by going the whole day without realizing it and everyone seeing it.

I would say something because I would want someone to tell me if my slip was showing. Catch her when she is alone, I’m sure she won’t be offended.

Say something quietly and quickly, or send her a little email.

I would much rather have someone tell me than go about the whole day that way. I think I would like it if they were quiet about it though and didn’t make a big deal about it in front of alot of people.

Always!  If I were to write a girl code, there’d be a rule about telling others about slip, zipper, and button mishaps.

What do we mean by “slip”? I imagine the definition would largely determine whether I’d tell them or not.

Who wears slips anymore? But yes, I’d tell her.

Haha, I too do not know what a slip is. But it sounds like something that should not be seen, so I say yes – tell her!

Wow, I feel old. I still wear slips sometimes. They are lingerie items that go under skirts (basically an underwear skirt) so you can’t see your legs through your skirt. I still wear them with unlined skirts to avoid the see-through.

And yes, you should tell her. I’m guessing no one says “It’s snowing down south.” anymore? 😉 That was once upon a time the discreet way to tell a lady her white slip was showing.

I knew slips aren’t popular, but I didn’t realize some people didn’t even now what they were!

You wear them under sheer or clingy fabrics so you don’t show your bra or panty lines.

@mink: Agreed; and add mascara smudges to the list.
